Care Instructions
Wooden items used for the preparation or serving of food should be washed by hand under running water, using mild, colourless dish soap, and dried immediately using a cloth or paper towel. If the item does not need to be thoroughly washed, a dry or tightly wrung clean cloth or sponge can be used.
When cleaning chopping boards, both sides of the board should be washed to avoid the wood drying unevenly and warping.
Do not soak wood or clean wooden items in a dishwasher, this can result in the wood splitting or warping.
To maintain the quality and condition of the wood, we recommend occasionally applying a small amount of food-safe mineral oil using a cloth or paper towel. It’s also recommended to very occasionally resurface the board using a fine grit paper before re-oiling. Leave the oil to dry before using.
